Central Data Server (CDS)

CENTRAL DATA SERVER (CDS) serves as a central enterprise repository of critical information such as inventory levels, service levels, forecasted consumer and store demand, and much more. CDS features continuous updates, with immediate updates of critical data and timed updates of less sensitive data.

CDS aggregates individual store-level activity to the entire enterprise to allow for better visibility to things like current inventory, up-to-date out-of-stock statistics, and performance in shrink.

Typically, retailers connect directly to CDS's tables with their in-house BI tool(s) to extract desired information to make good reports great!
